The solemn start of events within the framework of the declared year is scheduled for January 27 at the Energetik Palace of Culture, reported Deputy Head of the City Executive Committee Ramil Khalimov during the XX meeting of the City Council.
«Respectful interethnic relations, formed during the construction of the city, are a subject of special value for us. The issue of interethnic and interfaith relations, preserving and multiplying the traditions of interethnic harmony are fundamental life principles in our work», - reported Ramil Khalimov and noted that extensive work is being carried out in the city in this direction.
There are 22 national associations operating in Naberezhnye Chelny. They are based in the House of Friendship of Peoples «Rodnik», where major repairs were carried out last year. Clubs for lovers of national cultures also operate here, and there are 10 of them in the city. In addition, national holidays are held. These include «Nowruz», Ivan Kupala, and many others. The city organizes meetings for fellow countrymen. 35 communities of districts of the Republic of Tatarstan continue the glorious traditions of the first builders. Great attention is paid to effectively building state-confessional relations.
