The Public Council of the Executive Committee of the Municipal Formation of the City of Naberezhnye Chelny was established by Resolution No. 4150 of the Executive Committee of the Municipal Formation of the City of Naberezhnye Chelny dated August 10, 2016;
On August 23, 2016, an expanded meeting of the Public Council was held with the participation of the Head of the Executive Committee Apparatus G.K. Akhmetova, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee R.M. Khalimov, heads of the departments of culture, education and youth affairs, physical culture and sports, at which elections of the chairman, deputy chairman and secretary of the Public Council took place.
The main goals of the Public Council are:
- Taking into account the needs and interests of citizens, protecting the rights and freedoms of public associations and other non-state non-profit organizations in relevant spheres within the powers of local self-government bodies;
- Involving representatives of public, professional and creative associations in the development of main directions on issues related to the relevant field of activity, implementing the principle of transparency and openness of the Executive Committee's activities;
- Strengthening public control over the quality of municipal services provided by municipal institutions in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, developing the principles of openness, legality and professionalism in the relevant field.
