The concert hall was established by a decision of the Executive Committee of the Naberezhnye Chelny City Council dated June 10, 1988.
In connection with the creation of professional creative groups in the city and the further development of touring and concert activities, cultural services for the population of the city and the Kama region, the Executive Committee of the City Council of People's Deputies decided to establish a self-supporting pop and concert association (NECO) under the Department of Culture of the City Executive Committee on January 1, 1991.
In order to perpetuate the name of the legendary Tatar composer, based on the decision of the standing commission of the Naberezhnye Chelny City Council of People's Deputies, the Concert Hall of the city administration was named after Sara Sadykova in 2000.
The area of the concert hall is 1,939.6 sq.m. The number of seats in the auditorium is 766. It operates as a rental hall hosting all city and regional competitions, festivals, creative evenings, anniversaries, gala concerts, etc. It also hosts touring concerts of Tatar and Russian pop stars.
The main purpose of the institution is to satisfy the cultural needs of citizens, raise their level of culture, provide aesthetic education for the younger generation, preserve and develop national traditions, organize cultural and educational activities and cultural forms of leisure.
To achieve this goal, the Concert Hall carries out the following types of activities:
- organizing touring activities of theatrical and entertainment institutions and concert organizations;
- holding concerts of Tatar and Russian pop stars;
- holding cultural and mass events;
- holding author evenings, meetings with cultural and artistic figures, professional and creative groups.
The activities of the Municipal Autonomous Cultural Institution "Sara Sadykova Concert Hall":
· are aimed at protecting and satisfying the interests of socially vulnerable groups of the population;
· provide full support in organizing events involving budgetary organizations and district executive committees of the city.
On the first floor there are a guest room, 4 dressing rooms for artists, a ticket office, cloakrooms for spectators, men's and women's restrooms.
On the second floor there are the director's reception office, accounting department, administrator's office, and sound operator's room.
Residents of Naberezhnye Chelny enjoy visiting the Sara Sadykova Concert Hall to meet their spiritual needs.
