The Fikryat Tabeev Embankment is the main public space of Naberezhnye Chelny, which has been systematically renewed for several years. Its total length is 2.5 km, and all major city events with thousands of attendees are held here. According to surveys and activity points, Tabeev Embankment has always been Chelny residents' favorite place for walks. As part of the 4th stage of improvement in 2026, it is planned to complete the pedestrian and bicycle connection and build a year-round pavilion for city celebrations and anniversary events. More than 12,400 Chelny residents voted for the 4th section of the embankment — it took first place in the city ranking based on the results of the public vote. Nailya Nagumanova, Director of the Institute for Urban Development of Tatarstan, explained: "We are systematically working on this area, starting with Pribrezhny Park. The fifth section should be the final chord that connects the completed sections into a single system." The Pioneer Builders' Stele is a separate symbolic project for the anniversary. As part of the 400th anniversary, a project for the stele of the city's pioneer builders will be implemented, and symbols, emblems, and souvenirs for the anniversary celebration will be developed. Farid Basharov, General Director of the Union of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasized the significance of this project: "The whole country built the city. The memorial stele project won the city competition. This would be a worthy gift to the city." According to him, Naberezhnye Chelny is the 33rd largest city in Russia, and it was here that the last major construction project of the Soviet Union was completed. Mayor Nail Magdeev particularly emphasized that it is the labor traditions of the pioneer builders that remain the foundation of Chelny's development, and history itself is created by people who work daily for the benefit of the city.
