We are talking about increasing monthly cash payments for the disabled, combat veterans, people who have been exposed to radiation, Heroes of the Soviet Union and Russia, Heroes of Socialist Labor and some other categories of citizens. Currently, more than 37 thousand people receive social benefits in Naberezhnye Chelny.
The size of the indexation is determined based on the inflation rate for 2020. In addition, the set of social services included in the EDB is indexed by 4.9%. By law, it is required for everyone who receives EDV, and is provided with services or money. The cost of the set increased to 1,211.66 rubles per month.: medicines, medical products and therapeutic nutrition for children with disabilities (monetary equivalent - 933.25 rubles per month), a voucher for sanatorium–resort treatment for the prevention of major diseases (monetary equivalent - 144.37 rubles per month), free commuter rail or intercity transport to and from the place of treatment (monetary equivalent – 134.04 rubles per month).
