Today, January 25, Russia celebrates Russian Students Day (Tatiana Day), officially established in 2005. Originally, this festive date appeared on the calendar due to the opening of Moscow University in 1755.

Today, festive events were held in all universities and secondary vocational educational institutions of Naberezhnye Chelny. For reference: more than 20,000 students study in the city, including more than 2,000 international students, and more than 8,000 students receive scholarships.

At the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University (NGPU), a significant event on Russian Students Day was the opening of the "Dobro.Tsentr" (Good Center) co-working space on the university's premises. Now, the NGPU volunteer association "Dari Dobro" (Give Good), which has been active for over ten years, has its own area for implementing youth social initiatives. Farid Salakhov, Head of the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny, visited the opening of the Center today.

The Center will train volunteers and organizers of volunteer activities, as well as develop new volunteer initiatives.

"Dobro.Tsentr" will become a place of attraction not only for students, but for all active and caring residents of Chelny who are interested in social projects.

At the Medical College, the day began with cheerful music and a photo zone where students were offered funny aphorisms about student life for photos. Later, the celebration moved outdoors, where Director Irina Nurgatina congratulated everyone present on the holiday. All students were treated to pancakes and hot tea.

At the L.B. Vasiliev Kama State Automotive Technical College, the holiday was celebrated no less festively. All groups participated in a drawing contest, and a radio broadcast dedicated to the holiday was aired in the morning. For first-year students, the student council held an initiation ceremony – a quest in which each group demonstrated their creative, athletic, and scientific abilities.

At the Naberezhnye Chelny branch of the V.G. Timiryasov Kazan Innovative University (KIU), a "Youth Quiz" was held for students, a video contest "Students live cheerfully from session to session" took place as part of the "Best Academic Group" competition, and a traditional meeting of university activist alumni was also held.

At the Kama Technical and Economic College, the day began not with lectures, but with outdoor exercises! Students decided to spend this festive day under the motto "A sound mind in a sound body".

At the V.D. Potashov Technical College, a concert of cover bands and performers "Live Sound" was organized, arm-wrestling competitions among students were held, as well as a competition among college groups and a home-style concert "Open Mic".

The Pedagogical College hosted the II Student Council gathering, and games and a lottery were organized for all students.

The Naberezhnye Chelny branch of TISBI University hosted a screening of the film "Student Day".

The Naberezhnye Chelny Technological College held the final of the "Team of the Year-2022" contest, as well as the "Cut the Tail" campaign and a 3D emblem contest "My Profession".

The Polytechnic College held a KVN festival among college teams participating in the city league.

The E.N. Batenchuk Kama Construction College held a themed game "About Students".

And in the evening from 18:30 to 22:00, the youth center "Nur" will host "Student Night". The event will consist of three blocks: an interactive game, a concert program, and a disco. The interactive game will be held at a designated area and consists of such blocks as: "Where is the logic?", "Guess the song", "Dance floor star", "ProQuiz", and "Blitz Film". Students will spontaneously divide into teams in a random order. After the interactive game, students will enjoy a concert program featuring the city's student instrumental groups and solo performers. The event will end with a festive disco.
