The Permanent Commission on Public Health and Social Protection carries out preliminary consideration and preparation of issues related to the jurisdiction of the City Council in the following areas:
- determination of the conditions and procedure for concluding social employment contracts;
- provision of living quarters for low-income citizens in need of better housing conditions;
- creation of conditions for providing residents with communication services, catering, trade and consumer services;
- creation of conditions for providing medical care to the population in the city in accordance with the territorial program of state guarantees of free medical care to citizens;
- creation of favorable conditions in order to attract medical workers and pharmaceutical workers to work in medical organizations;
- development of institutions of the municipal healthcare system, determination of the nature and scope of their activities;
- employment of the population;
- family, motherhood and childhood.
The Permanent Commission considers other issues related to the jurisdiction of the City Council.
