The main tasks of the Department are the organization and implementation of events aimed at ensuring the sustainable development of social processes in the municipality, the implementation of priority areas of economic development based on indicative planning to assess the standard of living of the population, socio-economic development of the municipal entity Naberezhnye Chelny (hereinafter – the city);
The main functions of the Department in accordance with the tasks assigned to it are:
1) development of long-term and annual plans for the socio-economic development of the city: analysis of the dynamics of socio-economic development, development of a forecast, preparation of key indicators of socio-economic development of the city in the sections "Demography" "Labor", "Monetary income and expenses of the population", "Retail trade turnover and paid services"
2) determination of threshold values of indicators for assessing the standard of living of the population, economic and social sectors of the city's life; implementation, within its competence, of monitoring the achievement of planned results;
3) monitoring the implementation of a comprehensive forecast of socio-economic development and a system of indicative assessment of the standard of living of the city's population;
4) organization and coordination of work within its competence to improve living standards and legalize incomes of the population, including:
- monitoring trends in the economy and labor market;
- analysis of wage arrears;
- analysis of the received information to the hotline on "envelope" salary payments and their payment below the minimum consumer budget;
5) monitoring of social processes taking place in the city;
6) coordination of the work of the territorial tripartite commission for the regulation of social and labor relations in the city;
7) analysis of the reasonableness of the composition of costs for setting appropriate tariffs for services of municipal institutions;
8) coordination of the development and implementation of administrative regulations for the provision of municipal services;
9) preparation of responses to incoming official documents, appeals from citizens and legal entities on issues within the competence of the department
The Department performs other functions in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as municipal legal acts.
