The main functions of the Department in accordance with the regulations on its tasks are: 1) involvement of the society in the preparation and implementation of significant urban programs; 2) ensuring the development and implementation of measures aimed at strengthening interethnic and interfaith harmony;
3) organization of meetings of representatives of public associations with officials of local governments to promptly resolve issues arising in the public sphere of the city; 4) ensuring the interaction of the Executive Committee with representatives of labor collectives, public formations, trade unions, national, socio-political, religious and other associations operating in the city, studying and analyzing their activities, preparing proposals for its improvement; < / p>
5) for the purposes of its competence, it can create conditions to meet the relevant needs of the city's population; 6) providing organizational assistance in the work of trade union, national, socio-political, and religious associations; 7) carrying out work with the public, public associations and other organizations on issues related to the realization of citizens' rights to association and to hold public events; 8) preparation of drafts of municipal legal acts on issues related to the exercise of civil rights to association, to hold public events, for the purposes of its competence, ensures the implementation of such acts.; 9) holding events and preparing information in accordance with the established procedure for the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan and other bodies on major requests;
10) preparation of responses and draft decisions on incoming official documents, appeals, statements, complaints to civil, labor collectives, socio-political associations, including on issues of interethnic and interfaith relations;
11) ensuring the implementation of the necessary measures to meet the requirements stipulated by Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27.07.2006 "On Personal Data;
12) collection of restrictions established by Federal Law No. 25-FZ of 02.03.2007 "On Municipal Service in the Russian Federation" and other federal laws;
13) enforcement of the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan dated 08.07.1992 No. 1560 - XII "On the State languages of the Republic of Tatarstan and other languages in the Republic of Tatarstan";
14) a site in the coordinates of the activities of local self-government bodies, city organizations for the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan dated 07/08/1992 No. 1560 - XII "On the State languages of the Republic of Tatarstan and other languages in the Republic of Tatarstan" and the state program of the Republic of Tatarstan for the preservation, study and development of the languages of the peoples of the Republic of Tatarstan; 15) performing other functions in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, municipal legal acts.
