Limited Liability Company of the City of Naberezhnye Chelny "Park of Culture and Recreation"
The park was founded in 1972 in accordance with the decision of the Executive Committee of the Naberezhnye Chelny City Council of Working People's Deputies of the TASSR dated April 10, 1972. The Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Park of Culture and Recreation" includes two parks with a total area of 11 hectares, located in the Avtozavodsky and Komsomolsky districts of the city. The two sites feature 54 attractions: 21 for children, 18 for families, and 15 extreme rides. The amusement park is visited annually by 1 to 1.5 million people.
The department for organizing cultural and mass leisure events holds over 300 free events annually in public spaces, with a total attendance of about 500,000 people. The team organizes cultural, sports, and educational outdoor events for city residents.
Employees of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Park of Culture and Recreation" are engaged in the daily maintenance of public spaces, which includes: garbage cleaning; collection and removal of plant waste; repair and installation of small architectural forms; planting and care of vegetation, including flower beds, planters, and hanging pots; and fountain maintenance.
The park complex is among the top ten parks in Russia and is a multiple winner of the All-Russian review-competition "Crystal Wheel" in Sochi (in 2003 and 2005, and twice in 2012). In 2006, it was awarded the title "Best Cultural Institution" of Naberezhnye Chelny, and in 2008 and 2014 — "Best Territory for Improvement and Landscaping".
