The main function of the MCU Registry Office is the registration of civil status acts. < / p>
The powers of state registration of acts of civil composition belong to the federal powers, the execution of which is vested in the subjects of the Russian Federation. In the Republic of Tatarstan, in accordance with the law, the execution of these powers has been transferred to local governments.
The state powers to register acts of civil status in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny are carried out by the Municipal government Institution "Office of Registration of Acts of Civil Status under the Executive Committee of the Municipal Formation of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny" (hereinafter referred to as the MCU Registry Office). < / p>
Acts of civil status are civil actions or events affecting the establishment, modification or cancellation of rights and obligations, as well as characterizing the legal status of a citizen. < / p>
Civil status acts are subject to state registration: birth, marriage, dissolution of marriage, adoption, establishment of paternity, name change and death.
The activities of the MCU Registry Office also include:

- reception of citizens for the registration of acts of civil status, for the provision of legal assistance;

- provision of accounting and storage of books of state registration of acts of civil status (act books) in accordance with the deadlines established by Federal legislation;
- keeping records and ensuring the safety of forms of certificates of state registration of acts of civil structure;
- submission of information related to the state registration of acts of civil status in accordance with the procedure and deadlines established by Federal legislation;
-submission to the Registry Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan of information on the state registration of civil acts, reports on the use of forms of certificates of state registration of civil acts in accordance with the procedure and deadlines established by the legislation of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan. < / p>
