By Resolution No. 129 of the City Council of People's Deputies dated March 13, 1990, the Tatar choreographic Ensemble "Bulgars" was created in Naberezhnye Chelny. The name of the dance ensemble "Bulgars" seemed to imply an appeal to the folk art of the ancestors. Of course, it is extremely difficult to find and collect such ancient dance folklore, but based on ancient legends, folk tales, and any data from archaeological excavations, with a certain amount of imagination, you can try to translate it into a kind of scenic action, which, although stylized, can convey where clearly, and where and in the mood, the spirit that may have hovered over the ancient expanses and lived in the blood of the once former people. For many years, the chief choreographer of the theater, Yuri Smyshlyaev, has been developing the Bulgarian direction in the art of dance: the dance "Warriors of the Bulgars", "Warriors of the Bulgars", "Silver Spoon in the Clouds" - a choreographic milling of the rite of the ancient Bulgars, "Calling the Rain" to the music of composer Maskhuda Shamsutdinova. Defining the repertoire policy of the theater, the management focuses on the dances of the peoples of the Middle Volga region. In the poster, along with Tatar compositions, Mari, Russian, Chuvash, Udmurt, Bashkir are side by side.… And yet it was intuitively felt that something "own" was needed. Folklore, or rather the choreographic folklore of the ethnic groups of the Tatars, has become such a major trend. Choreographer Flura Yanysheva took over this responsible and tremendous work.
