Main objectives of the Municipal Autonomous Cultural Institution "Palace of Culture 'KAMAZ'":
- Creating favorable conditions for organizing cultural leisure and recreation for residents of Naberezhnye Chelny;
- Providing socio-cultural, educational, health and entertainment services accessible to broad segments of the population;
- Meeting the needs for preserving and developing traditional folk artistic creativity, supporting amateur art, other amateur creative initiatives and socio-cultural activity of the population;
- Developing modern forms of organizing cultural leisure taking into account the needs of various socio-age groups of the population.
Types of services:
- Organization of anniversary evenings;
- Rental of costumes, props, stage properties, equipment and other property;
- Sound recording;
- Joint organization of events, presentations;
- Organization of cultural and leisure events for school summer camps;
- Cultural and leisure services with travel to the location of organizations;
- Organization of family relaxation evenings;
- Organization and holding of exhibitions;
- Property lease;
- Placement of signs and banners;
- Design services.
Annually, the Palace of Culture "KAMAZ" holds more than 400 events with a total reach of over 300,000 people. The Palace of Culture "KAMAZ" operates 20 club groups with 430 participants, of which 16 clubs operate on a free basis.
The Palace of Culture "KAMAZ" is the organizer of regional and city festivals and competitions:
- All-Russian Festival of Folk Arts, Crafts and Decorative and Applied Arts "City of Masters";
- All-Russian Literary Festival "Swans over Chelny";
- Regional Festival of National Culture "Kama Origins";
- City Festival of Creativity of Territorial Public Self-Governments "Weather in the House";
- Open Regional Festival of Fashion Designers "Fashion and Style";
Based at the Palace of Culture "KAMAZ", the following are implemented:
- City creative project "Chelny - TOP-13", aimed at identifying and supporting talented residents of the city;
- Creative project "ART Square", aimed at organizing cultural leisure for the population during the summer period.
The Palace of Culture "KAMAZ" houses the Center of Decorative and Applied Arts and Crafts "Living Tradition". The Center hosts an exhibition of 64 masters of folk arts and crafts from Yelabuga, Kukmor, Mamadysh, Naberezhnye Chelny. Weekly, the Center conducts excursions on the history of the development of folk crafts and master classes on various types of decorative and applied arts.
