History of the school:
The children's Art School in Naberezhnye Chelny, which opened in 1978, became the first in the Tatar ASSR. The school conducts training in 11 specialties in the music, art and choreography departments, where more than 500 students are engaged. Over the years, about 2,000 students have graduated, and more than 800 have continued their studies at specialized secondary and higher educational institutions in Tatarstan and Russia.
Teachers and students of the school actively participate in exhibition, concert and competitive activities, which bear fruit in the form of numerous awards. The victories of the students of the art school are based on the painstaking, well-coordinated work of the teaching staff, the core of which consists of teachers who have given the school more than 30 years, who are the golden fund of the pedagogical community of the city and receive recognition at the highest level.
The team lives on innovations that inspire teachers and students. Creative teams are working: the orchestra of folk instruments, the choreographic ensembles "The Nutcracker", "Girls", "Gorlavek", "Kamsky souvenir", the senior choirs "Octave", the special "Melody" and the junior "Do-mi-solka", creative art workshops were created.
Pupils of the school win national, All-Russian, and international competitions in Russia and abroad: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Volgograd, Arkhangelsk, Ulyanovsk, Astrakhan, Izhevsk, Ivanovo, Ryazan, Petrozavodsk, Kazan, as well as Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Poland, Turkey, the Czech Republic, the United Arab Emirates, China, France, Austria, Latvia, Belarus and every year the geography of participation is expanding.
Today, the school is in the prime of its powers and capabilities, it continues its journey in developing the talents and creative abilities of children.
