Municipal Autonomous Institution of Additional Education "Children's Music School No. 5" was opened in 1975. Over 50 years of its existence, the school has become a large and authoritative institution of additional education for children, with more than 370 students studying in budget-funded and self-supporting departments.
Over the years of its work, more than one and a half thousand students have graduated from the school, of which over 200 continued their education in secondary specialized and higher educational institutions of Tatarstan, Russia, Austria, Germany, Spain and Canada.
The school is the winner of the All-Russian competition "50 Best Children's Art Schools" in 2016, and four times laureate of the republican stage of the all-Russian competition "Russian Organization of High Social Efficiency" in the category "For the development of human resources in non-production organizations".
In 2005, 2008, 2016 and 2024, the school became the winner in the nomination "Best Art Educational Institution of Naberezhnye Chelny".
Students of the school have won the All-Russian competition "Young Talents of Russia" six times, and have repeatedly become scholarship holders of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Mayor of the city, the Vladimir Spivakov International Charitable Foundation "Light of Hope", the "New Names" Charitable Foundation, and have won at the most prestigious performance competitions of instrumental, vocal and choral art.
The motto of Children's Music School No. 5, "To illuminate others with light, you must carry the sun within yourself!" allows us to look to the future with confidence and optimism!
