Municipal Autonomous Institution of Additional Education in Naberezhnye Chelny
The "Children's Choreographic School" has been in existence since August 2001.
In 2001, the Biserinki Dance Ensemble acquired the status of a Children's Choreographic School and received its own building, where 400 children aged 6 to 16 study today. The form of study is full–time. The purpose of the educational process is to develop personal motivation for cognition and creativity through the implementation of an additional pre-professional general education program in the field of choreographic art.
The main objectives of the school are:
-identification of gifted children,
- creation of the most favorable conditions for the improvement of their talent,
-preparation of students for admission to educational institutions of vocational education,
-formation of literate, interested in communicating with art youth,
-meeting the needs of citizens of society and the state in the field of art education and aesthetic education.
Currently, a creative professional teaching staff is working under the leadership of the director. Of these, 85% are teachers with higher education, 22% have the highest qualification category, 17% have the 1st qualification category.
A lot of career guidance work is carried out:
-professional consulting;
-stage practice in the Biserinki dance ensemble. In 2011, for high achievements in the field of folk art, contribution to strengthening spiritual unity and preserving the cultures of the peoples of Russia, the collective was awarded the title "Honored Folk Art Collective of the Russian Federation";
-in 2017, the experimental site "School of Professional Training of High School students" began its work for further education of the best students at the Kazan Choreographic College.
Projects of the Children's Choreographic School:
-the program of development of creative abilities of children and identification of gifted children in choreographic art "Discovery of talent", includes holding competitions-
*The International festival –competition of children's and youth creativity of the Turkic-speaking peoples "Rainbow",
* The All-Russian competition of soloists of choreographic art "Solo Dance Chelny".
- "Preservation and development of folk traditions in choreographic art",
-socially oriented project "Step forward!", together with the rehabilitation center for children and adolescents with disabilities "Sunny";
is a school reading contest dedicated to Mother Tongue Day.
Love for the art of choreography, the ability to evoke empathy, to give people joy is the creative credo of the school's staff and the Biserinka dance ensemble.
