The unemployment rate in Naberezhnye Chelny is 0.96%. As told by the director of the city's Employment CenterTatiana Bydanova, since the beginning of the year, 2,350 people have applied to the human resources center "Work of Russia". 2,713 people are registered as unemployed. The database of the Employment Center contains 6,626 vacancies, 935 enterprises are registered on the portal "Work of Russia". Since the beginning of the year, 54 million 794 thousand rubles of unemployment benefits have been paid, 1,541 people have been employed, including 329 people in March.
"The unemployment rate is slowly returning to the pre-crisis level. Further it is necessary to work with our enterprises and organizations. The number of jobs in the city is enough to find a job in terms of qualifications," said Nail Magdeev, Mayor of the city.
