The mayor Nail Magdeev held a meeting with the staff of Chelnyvodokanal. Zhanna Khaliullina, Deputy General Director of KAMAZ PJSC, was also present at the meeting. The mayor was introduced by the newly appointed director of the enterprise Vladislav Gavrilov.
Chelnyvodokanal was established in 1971 and will celebrate its 50th anniversary this year.
First, the audience was shown a film about the results of the socio-economic development of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny in 2020 and the tasks for 2021.
"Thank you to the President of Russia, the President of Tatarstan, and all of you that the economy of Naberezhnye Chelny is working. All this work has been done, among other things, thanks to the skill and diligence of your work team. Therefore, I would like to express my gratitude for your daily, seemingly inconspicuous, but very necessary, necessary work. For a second, it's hard to imagine what would have happened if there had been no water. You can live a week without a refrigerator or smartphone, but not without water," the mayor said, welcoming the company's employees.
Nail Magdeev noted that 15 billion rubles have been raised for the construction of new educational and medical facilities, as well as culture and sports.: "The most modern cancer center in Russia has started operating. The long-awaited Tatar drama Theater has appeared in our city. An abandoned park was put in order on this territory, named after the famous builder Marat Shakirovich Bibishev. A new modern theater and youth center have been built on the site of the former building of the Builder Recreation Center. Construction of a new building of the Russian drama theater "Artisans" has begun. We have built the KAMAZ ice Palace, the Pobeda indoor football arena, and the Yubileyny swimming pool," the mayor said. "We are putting parks and squares in order: on the GAS Station, in Sidorovka, and Yunykh Lenintsev Boulevard."
At the end of the meeting, the participants were able to ask the mayor questions. They concerned the creation of new routes in the city, the organization of traffic in the industrial area. Many of them thanked Nail Magdeev for the road repairs carried out in the industrial area of the city.
